BurnerCam is a camera for temporary photos — everything you shoot stays inside the app, off your camera roll and off iCloud, and deletes itself on a timer you control.
Nowhere. They live only inside BurnerCam on your device — never the camera roll, never iCloud, excluded even from device backups. When the timer runs out (or you delete something), it's gone permanently. There is no trash and no undo.
Long-press it and tap Keep (or open it and tap Keep). Kept items are pinned and never auto-deleted. You can also extend a single photo's timer from its ⋯ menu, or change the global timer in Settings.
Long-press a photo → Hide. It moves out of the main grid into the Hidden tab, which by default requires Face ID to open. Hidden photos still expire on schedule unless you also Keep them.
With BurnerCam open on your iPhone, the watch shows a live viewfinder. Tap the shutter for a photo, hold it to record video, and turn the Digital Crown to zoom. The iPhone app must be open on screen — iOS doesn't allow any app to use the camera from the background. If the stream looks too soft, enable "High quality watch stream" in Settings (expect some lag).
Only when you tap "Save to Photos." BurnerCam uses iOS add-only permission: it can add that one item to your library, but it cannot see or read anything already in it.
Yes — Settings → Reminders. Off by default. Choose how far in advance (days/hours/minutes) you want a heads-up. The notification never shows the photo unless you turn on the preview option.
Cleanup runs when the app is open (iOS limits what apps can do in the background). Anything past its deadline is removed the moment BurnerCam becomes active.
